United Cities and Local Governments Asia-Pacific (UCLG ASPAC), the regional section of UCLG, is the key knowledge management hub on local government issues in the region. UCLG is the only local government organization recognised by the United Nations, and nominates 10 out of 20 members of UNACLA, the first advisory body of local authorities affiliated with the UN.
