GA is WeGO’s triennial flagship event, it gathers both members and non-members to shape the key agenda that will help chart WeGO’s direction for the next three years. The event features various smart city sessions and workshops, a Mayors’ Roundtable, a CIO Forum, the Executive Committee (EXCOM) Meeting, and the GA itself.

The WeGO Executive Committee (EXCOM), WeGO’s main decision-making body, convenes annually to review the Secretariat’s activities and accomplishments in the past year and to decide on key agenda items guiding the organization’s direction for the future.

Regional Offices are an extension of WeGO to expand the network by organizing smart city activities, inviting new members, and initiating knowledge exchange and cooperation while providing support for WeGO and prospective members from the corresponding region.
