WeGO-ASCN Mayoral Conference 2019

WeGO took the lead to provide knowledge sharing and networking opportunities to the ASEAN Smart Cities Network (ASCN), ASEAN’s initiative for 26 pilot cities—and counting—across the region. Plenary sessions included keynote speeches from Korean ministries in charge of smart city development and diplomacy to ASEAN, along with heads of international organizations actively working to support ASCN. In a series of breakout sessions, governors and mayors also were matched with a range of strategic partners who could assist in carrying out feasibility studies, pilot projects, and other arrangements jointly with cities toward the successful implementation of their Smart City Action Plans (SCAPs).
