WeGO Smart City Week

The WeGO Smart City Week in conjunction with the 3rd Smart City Summit Asia in Goyang, the 3rd Seoul Digital Summit and the 7th Global Summit on Urban Tourism was a premier annual gathering of Smart City leaders and stakeholders from around the world to showcase their Smart City & ICT achievements, present and exhibit new emerging technologies from their companies, network & collaborate with key global Smart City & ICT enterprises from around the world, and participate in a forum to share & propose ways to cooperate and maintain mutual partnerships with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

There were numerous opportunities for cities and its companies to not only showcase their solutions and best practices, match-make and network, but also to propose solutions to the Seoul Metropolitan Government as well as to enjoy an entire week’s worth of Smart City experiences, from WeGO’s organizing of sessions in Smart Tourism, Smart Cities Mayors Forum, Roundtable: International Cooperation on Smart Cities with the Embassy of the Netherlands to technical tours to Goyang Smart City Promotion Center. Participants included clients from the World Bank, Executive Director of Kampala, delegates from French cities such as Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand to name a few.

As this is an annual program, I hope to see you all next year!
