Yoo Chong Ha

Chairman Yoo is a former diplomat and scholar with an extensive background in international relations.

Mr Yoo has pursued his career as a diplomat in Korean government for forty years. His core service includes Korea’s Representative to the European Union and the United Nations, the Vice minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Senior Secretary in Foreign Affairs to the 14 th President of South Korea. Chairman Yoo have played a crucial role in shaping Korea’s foreign policy and promote peace and cooperation on Korean Peninsula.

After his career in public service, Chairman Yoo continued to contribute to academia and international development. From 2008, he has served as the president of Korean Red Cross for 3 years. He has also contributed to academia of international relations by giving lectures as visiting professor on international relations at the Sogang University, Korea and Claremont McKenna College, California.

His own educational background is Seoul National University in political science major and University of Bonn Germany at graduate level. Chairman Yoo is currently engaged in running his own business in education industry.
