Seo Jung-eun

Mr. Seo Jung-eun is a distinguished public leader and legal scholar with extensive experience in urban governance, international diplomacy, and corporate advisory. He holds the role of Standing Advisor at SK Telecom Co., Ltd., providing strategic guidance in areas of management and innovation. From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Seo served as Vice Mayor for Political Affairs of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, where he played a critical role in shaping political strategy and urban policy for one of the world’s leading global cities. His leadership was marked by a focus on effective governance and collaboration across multiple city departments. He was appointed Chairman of the Asia Network of Major Cities from 2010 to 2014, where he worked to strengthen inter-city cooperation across Asia. During this period, he also contributed academically as an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Public Administration at Chung-Ang University (2010–2012), fostering the next generation of public leaders.

Between 2013 and 2017, Mr. Seo expanded his diplomatic career as Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Hiroshima, Japan, strengthening bilateral relations and promoting cultural and economic exchanges.
