City of Geneva Welcomes the Distinguished Smart City Leaders at the Palais Eynard
Geneva, May 29th – Following the significant discussion to develop the “International Guidelines on People-centered Smart Cities” with the UN Habitat, the City of Geneva received the distinguished smart city leaders to the reception hosted by Deputy Mayor of Geneva and President of the Global Cities Hub, Sami Kanaan. This gathering will solidify the connections among global city leaders and experts participating in the UN-Habitat closed-door dialogue on people-centered smart cities to further strengthen the future unity and collaboration.
Deputy Mayor Kanaan in his opening remarks highlighted Geneva’s commitment to sustainable urban development and international cooperation, and emphasized Geneva’s readiness to support the global movement towards a sustainable and equitable smart city development. The reception provides an opportunity for attendees to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and build collaborative relationships.
