WeGO concludes annual training course with NIA

SEOUL – WeGO just concluded its annual training program conducted jointly with the South Korean National InformationSociety Agency (NIA). Over 100 public officials, professionals, and other interested individuals from around 40 countries took part in the online program to learn about digitalization, smart city trends and best practices.
This year held on the topic of “Citizen-Centric Digital Transformation in e-Government and Smart City Initiatives”, the course consisted of 3 Modules and covered a total of 9 topics, presented by experts from the government, research and academia from South Korea and Europe.
The 2021 training course received high praise from participants, who described the course as ‘priceless’ and ‘invaluable’ and appreciated the expertise of all lecturers, as well as the precious knowledge gained in the field of citizen-centric digital transformation.Co-organized since 2016, the next training program will likely be held in the second half of 2022, in-person if the COVID-19 pandemic allows.
