Paris Est Marne & Bois (PEMB)
The Paris Est Marne & Bois (PEMB) is a Public Territorial Establishment (EPT) in France created on January 1, 2016, as part of the implementation of the Greater Paris Metropolis and the NOTRe Law of August 7, 2015, which reorganized the country’s territorial structure. It is one of 12 such entities—comprising Paris and 11 other municipal clusters—that manage powers delegated by their member cities. As an intercommunal body (T10), it brings together 13 municipalities and 520,000 inhabitants in the eastern Parisian region.
