About Host City Abu Dhabi! 

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, spans 67,340 sq. km and is home to over 4.1 million people. Envisioning the leading enabler of smart and sustainable development in the MENA region, Abu Dhabi has been a WeGO member since 2010 and established a WeGO Regional Office for the Middle East and North Africa. The city is also a proud winner of the 2024 Seoul Smart City Prize for its”STEAM+ Modelling & Analytics Framework” project.

WeGO EXCOM Meeting 2025

• The host city will be providing Technical and Cultural Tours
• WeGO Executive Committee Members will gather to to review the Secretariat’s activities and accomplishments in the past year and to decide on key agenda items guiding the organization’s direction for the future.
• WeGO also welcome to invite observers from local governments and institutions to join to the EXCOM open session to foster diverse viewpoints and inclusive dialogue.
