WeGO SG takes part in the Sustainable Cyber Environment Workshop

Seoul –WeGO Secretary General takes part in the Sustainable Cyber Environment Workshop held at the Seoul Global Center International Conference Hall. The event was co-hosted by the World Smart Sustainable Cities Organization (WeGO), the UN Global Compact Network Korea, Bright Internet Consortium, Chung-Ang University Cyber-Physical Space Purification Research Project team, and KAIST Bright Internet Research Center.
Digital transformation has brought to light the importance of cybersecurity and the need for systematic measures to prevent cybercrimes. This is a difficult problem to be addressed individually by a country or an organization, therefore, it is important to raise social awareness through public, private, academic, and international cooperation to tackle this issue.
Experts in the ESG field such as Park Kwang-woo, Professor at KAIST School of Finance, Lee Wang-gyeom, Head of ESG Strategy Division at Mirae Asset Asset Management Team, Kim Hyung-sup, SAP Innovation Leader, and Choi Yong-hwan, head of NH-Amundi Asset Management ESG Research Team. In addition, other major companies including Samsung, KT, and BC card also participated in the event.
