e-Government is not only the foundation and a key enabler of smart city development, with the global COVID-19 pandemic its role is proving to be more important than ever. As social distancing policies make physical access to local government services difficult, e-government systems have become crucial to ensure that citizens still can have their basic needs met.
Accordingly, WeGO is creating a thematic group on e-Government that gathers members and partners who have a special interest in e-government. The group’s activities will include e-government focused seminars, workshops, training programs, and feasibility studies.
The first activity of the WeGO e-Government Thematic Group will be a webinar where participants will learn about the latest trends, hear from leading cities in the field, and gain insights in how they can improve their own e-government systems.
Watch this webinar if:
- You want to learn more about the latest trends and best practice from leading cities in the field
- You are city official looking to improve your e-government systems
