2010 Inaugural General Assembly

The Inaugural General Assembly announced the foundation of The World e-Government Organization (WeGO) which had to play an important role for the whole international community. WeGO set a goal to help stakeholders in a number of member cities to successfully adopt e-Government initiatives.
Through providing information services to currently marginalized regions of the world and by creating policies that reflect the nuances of each city, WeGO could better connect with their citizens and overcome the digital divide concerns.

The Interim Executive Committee Meeting was held in June, 2010, prior to the Inaugural General Assembly.
