The Smart City Summit & Expo 2019 (SCSE) is one of the largest smart city and IoT business events in Asia, and WeGO is currently collaborating with the Taipei City Government, Taipei Computer Association (TCA), and the International Climate Development Institute (ICDI) to invite our members to participate in the event. WeGO members will be given special exclusive opportunities, including sponsorships, speakerships, exhibition, and one-on-one meetings etc. with numerous smart city stakeholders from around the world. In 2018, SCSE had 1,050 booths, 30,000 visitors from over 50 countries, including 120 overseas mayors and city delegations at the Mayors Summit. During the Expo, 65 professional forum tracks were presented by 356 speakers, drawing the interest of over 16,000 people. More details on the Smart City Summit & Expo may be found in this file.
Participation and Travel Arrangements
All WeGO members are encouraged to participate and are eligible for sponsorships (flight and/or accommodation), subject to approval from SCSE. As sponsorships are limited, please contact us as soon as possible.
Booth Information
WeGO members have been offered a special discounted price for booths at 3,000 USD / booth (raw space) and 3,250 USD / booth (with shell). As part of the exhibition package, 5-night accommodation will be provided to exhibitors (up to 3 people, i.e. 15 nights in total). Please refer to the attached file for more details.
Session
WeGO, in cooperation with ICDI, will coordinate the 2019 Sustainable City Forum as a co-organizer. We highly encourage WeGO members to participate in the following sessions:
- Social Innovations and Civic Engagement as a keynote speaker (March 26)
- Main Forum “Green Economic Development” as a panel speaker (March 27)
- Parallel Forum “Smart Energy Creating Business Opportunity for Energy Service” as keynote speakers (March 28)
