WeGO played a supporting role in its partner organization, the International Telecommunication Union’s “Smart ABC Programme” at ITU Telecom World 2017 in Busan, Korea from September 25-28, 2017. The event was a key gathering of leaders from governments, corporations, and SMEs to meet and discussing innovative uses of technology in AI, Banking, and Smart Cities.
WeGO hosted a booth at the Smart ABC Pavilion; Secretary General Dr. Young-sook Nam gave a keynote speech at the at the Program Opening; and WeGO facilitated the participation of Mr. Ismael Villegas, CIO of Mexico City and Mr. Asamov Mahmud Sunnatullaevich, CIO of Tashkent in the Smart City Leaders Roundtable. Additionally, WeGO is pleased to announce the signing of the “Busan Smart City 3-Party Collaborative MoU” with Busan Metropolitan City and XnTree. Furthermore, Dr. Nam spoke at the Young ICT Leaders Program, and Program Director, Mr. David Hahm, moderated a panel during the Program.
