WeGO signs MOU with Re-Imagining Cities Foundation
November 16, 2018
SEOUL – WeGO has formalized its partnership with a Korea-based foundation that looks to develop smart, sustainable future city districts in cities around the world.
In the afternoon, staff of WeGO and the Re-Imagining Cities Foundation (Re-Cities) met at the newly constructed office of the latter in Seoul, to celebrate the occasion between the organizations. WeGO Secretary General Kyong-yul Lee and Co-Founder & Chair of Re-Cities shook hands after signing an MOU at the cordial event.
Under this agreement, both organizations commit to cooperating in knowledge sharing, jointly organizing sessions and research projects, and promoting each others’ activities. The two partners further agreed to create a “Global PropTech Platform” for cities, solution providers, and investors, with the aim of accelerating the development of Smart Sustainable Cities.
The relationship between WeGO and Re-Cities was informally initiated at least a year ago with collaboration on several occasions since then, most recently for a PropTech-themed session at WeGO Smart City Week.
Following WeGO’s MOU with German organization Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) earlier this month, the new development with Re-Cities is yet another link in WeGO’s expanding network of global partnerships.
