WeGO interviewed for smart city podcast by Daegu Technopark

SEOUL – WeGO was interviewed for Daegu Technopark’s—a digital convergence center located in South Korea’s third largest city Daegu—podcast series on smart city (Korean title ‘대구는 스마트시티 아이가’).

The podcast series was launched in mid-2021 with the aim of increasing public awareness on the topic of smart city. WeGO was featured in this 7th episode, as the international organization after focusing on local smart city actors and initiatives in Daegu. 

During the interview, WeGO’s Secretary General Jung Sook Park gave a brief overview of what WeGO is and its main activities, and what her vision for WeGO is. Then WeGO’s Program Manager Eunbyul Cho and officer in charge of domestic partnerships Eunji Park continued the discussion on concrete topics such as the outcomes of the 5th WeGO General Assembly, the application procedure to join WeGO, and the organization’s most recent matchmaking achievement between Mexico City and South Korean company DASAN Call Center.

Other staff were also introduced at the end of the interview, showcasing the diverse languages spoken at the WeGO Secretariat.
