The National Information Technology Agency (NITA) is the agency responsible for implementing Ghana’s ICT policies. Its mandate includes identifying, promoting and developing innovative technologies, standards, guidelines, and practices among government agencies (including central, regional and local government). It is also to ensure the sustainable growth of ICT that facilitates Ghana’s prospect of becoming a technology-driven and knowledge-based economy as espoused in the ICT4AD Policy which ideally seeks to assist the Government to generate growth and employment, by leveraging ICT and public-private partnerships
