VSBLTY, a retail software and technology company, and RadarApp, a Smart City solutions provider, have launched a Crowd Temperature Scanning System aimed at identifying potential COVID-19 carriers and ultimately reducing the spread of COVID-19. A non-contact, real-time temperature sensing camera is installed at public facilities and crowded spaces, including buses, schools, and hospitals to monitor the temperature of visitors.
- The heat sensors attached to the camera which provides real-time data can identify abnormalities in people entering facilities, such as restaurants, bars, schools, and hospitals.
- The system is expected to help identify people potentially at risk for COVID-19 and reduce the spread and impact of the COVID-19.
